Celebration of Liturgy of the Word for Children

ages 4 to 8 at the 10:00 AM Masses

Children’s Liturgy of the Word engages children that haven’t yet completed the Sacraments of Initiation.  Children’s Liturgy of the Word presents the Sunday readings and Gospel message at a level suitable for this age range.  Children are called forward after the Collect/Opening Prayer before the readings and are taken to the lounge area to meet and discuss the readings.  Children return to celebrate mass with their families and the assembly immediately following the Prayers of the Faithful, prior to the Offertory.
