Each year, hundreds of people in the diocese of Gaylord are welcomed into the Catholic church through the RCIA process.
RCIA is an acronym for the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults.
The RCIA process at Immaculate Conception Parish may begin at any time a person is ready. The RCIA process is for any adult or child over seven years of age who is:
-Unbaptized and recognizes a need for spirituality in his/her life
-Baptized and raised in another Christian tradition but interested in learning about the Catholic faith
-Baptized in the Catholic faith or another Christian faith tradition but never received any formal religious training
-Baptized in the Catholic faith but did not receive the sacraments of Eucharist and Confirmation.
RCIA meets on Tuesday evenings from 7:00 to 8:30 pm in the Lounge. For more information contact Deacon Jude
