” I came that they may have life- and have it abundantly” John 10:10
Immaculate Conception LIFEgroup ministries seek teens grades 6-12 for faith formation, community activities, service to others, and fun.
We desire to experience our faith actively and purposefully and plant deep seeds of truth about Christ and who we are in Christ.
LIFEgroup JR – Sundays 11:00am-1:00pm
LIFEgroup JR engages teens grades 6-8 and meets weekly after the Sunday 10:00am Mass from 11:00-1:00pm downstairs in Marian Hall. After sharing a home cooked meal, we spend time praying together, studying God’s Word, being challenged to live our faith and playing games that strengthen our bonds of friendship. We are studying Matthew Kelly’s Decision Point curriculum this year. You can preview materials at https://dynamiccatholic.com/confirmation/view-program/
LIFEgroupSR – Wednesdays 6:30-8:00pm
LIFEgroup SR is designed for teens grades 9-12. We gather on Wednesday afternoons during the academic school year. A teacher supervised Study Hall is open in Marian Hall from 4:30-6:00pm. We serve a delicious dinner at 6:00pm, and hold our meeting from 6:30-8:00pm. This year we are using the Y-Disciple curriculum from the Augustinian Institute. The material is relevant and challenging and is designed to work in partnership with parents. The material is available for preview at www.ydisciple.org/index.php/register Parish password is: 4d1329
Retreat expereinces are offered throughout the calendar year to deepen our teens commitment to our Lord. We offer local events in unity with neighboring Catholic churches, Diocesan events such as retreats and camps and an annual summer journey for high school students to Franciscan University in Steubenville, Ohio to participate in the Youth Conferences. This fall 2015 we will travel to Indianapolis for the National Catholic Youth Conference.
