The whole liturgical life of the Church revolves around the Eucharistic sacrifice and the sacraments. (CCC 1113)

The Catholic Church has defined seven sacraments – instituted by and through the life of Jesus Christ. It is through the experience of the sacramental ritual that we are infused with God’s grace. The Sacraments nourish and strengthen us as they express and build up our faith. Immaculate Conception Church administers the Rites of Initiation (Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist, along with First Confession/Reconciliation) in what is known as the Restored Order.  This is done at the age of reason, which is normally at the age of 7.  Prepared candidates receive these Rites typically during their second and third grade year in school. However, all are welcome into this process of initiation at any age.
