Lectors
It is a lector’s honored task to proclaim the revealed Word of God to the gathered assembly. The ministry of lectors requires not only reading skills, but inner holiness, spiritual preparation and loving imitation of the Word. This ministry is open to all the baptized who are a junior in high school through adulthood. Contact Mark in the Music Office for more information.
Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion
EMHCs are called and commissioned to assist the priest and deacon in distributing the Body and Blood of Christ at the Eucharistic Liturgy. This ministry is open to those who are a junior in high school through adulthood, and are fully initiated in the Catholic Church. An initial certification session is required, which must be renewed every 3 years. Contact Mark in the Music Office for more information. (For those who wish to only minister to the sick and homebound, please contact Deacon Jude Younker)
Altar Servers
Servers assist the presider during the weekend liturgies, funerals, and weddings. Anyone from 3rd grade who has received their first communion to adults are welcome.
Usher/Greeters
These are the first ministers people will encounter as they enter the church. A friendly disposition and familiarity with the facility will help all who worship here feel welcome and at home. This is a wonderful ministry for families. Contact the office for more information.
